Blenkhorn’s Auto Recyclers ltd. is a family run business that was started by the current owner Sheldon Blenkhorn and has been serving customers for over 50 years. There are 17 staff employed including 7 family members.

The company operates on 48 acres of land and has 60,000 square feet of warehousing and inside work space.

We process 600 vehicles a year in our 3 dismantling bays, which are mainly purchased locally. Most vehicles purchased are late model (within 5 years old). We deal in domestic and foreign models, mini vans, SUV’s and light duty trucks.

To assist us in finding parts we can’t supply ourselves, we have a nation wide parts locating system.

We deliver daily to Metro Halifax area Monday – Friday, and ship daily to all parts of Canada.

Blenkhorn’s Auto Recyclers Ltd is a member of ARAAC (Automotive Recyclers Association of Atlantic Canada), ARC ( Automotive Recyclers of Canada), ARA (Automotive Recyclers Association, world wide). We are a Gold Seal member of ARA which means we comply to the highest standards of auto recycling.

We participate in Retire Your Ride, Car Heaven and Mercury Switch recovery programs.
